a. Description. A circuit that combines the principles of both simplex circuits and phantom groups is called a
simplexed-phantom circuit (fig. 71). It consists of two side circuits and a phantom circuit, comprising a phantom group,
with the addition of a simplex circuit accommodating the operation of telegraph sets T7 and T8.
