INTRODUCTION
Color negative materials are highly versatile, having certain advantages
over reversal color films.
From a color negative, you can produce color
transparencies without first producing an internegative.
Color negative
materials have wider exposure latitude and are easier to correct for color
balance and contrast variations.
Their only disadvantage is that they do
not lend themselves well to visual evaluation since their printing
characteristics cannot be accurately determined by evaluating the negative.
