INTRODUCTION TO DOCUMENTATION CINEMATOGRAPHY
These three lessons on documentation cinematography are designed to teach you
the methods of using cinematography to document subjects for your unit. Army
Visual Information units are becoming more tactically oriented and will require
efficient documentation.
Most of this camera work will be performed in the
field. The techniques in this subcourse are designed for both motion picture
and television specialists.
The methods are suitable for motion picture and
television cameras.
Your ability to support the Army with usable motion
picture footage may well spell the difference between mission failure and
mission accomplishment.
The term "visual
information"
has
replaced
"audiovisual"
in
the
Army
of
excellence.
