FILE NEGATIVES

Introduction. Each photographic laboratory maintains negative files for
the unit it serves.
These files contain the negatives, in correct order, to
simplify reference.
Individual negatives are kept in a jacket with a file
print and a caption.
Negatives are of two classifications: record and
nonrecord.
