OVERVIEW
LESSON DESCRIPTION:
In this lesson you will learn the factors involved with planning for
multichannel radio system employment. You will learn the methods for
selecting the appropriate equipment and selecting optimum site
locations.
In part B, you will learn the various governing
directives and some of the frequency assignment methods for
developing an appropriate frequency plan for your communications
network.

setting up your multichannel communications links.

Describe plotting LOS radio transmission paths
using contour maps and linear and nonlinear graphs.

Explain the purpose of a frequency assignment plan,
and describe some of the various methods for
developing a frequency assignment plan for use in
the field.
