44. Corps and Division.
a. Frequency control is
the responsibility of the Corps
communications-electronics officer and the division communications-
responsible for providing frequency support to all units of the
corps. This includes:
(1) Representing
the
corps
at
frequency
conferences of
high
headquarters.
(2) Coordinating with adjacent and subordinate units.
(3) Coordinating with the corps area frequency coordinator as
required.

b. Multichannel radio requirements will usually exceed the
available channels, particularly in areas with extensive television
and aeronautical facilities is used.
The ABM plan which will be
discussed later in this lesson can be used to obtain maximum use of
available frequencies.
Multichannel radio frequencies must be
controlled at all levels.
Assignment of frequencies may be
decentralized, but assignments must be forwarded to the corps
frequency branch.
