LESSON DESCRIPTION:
In this lesson, you will learn about command, control, and communications countermeasures (C3CM).
You will also learn about the support the intelligence and electronic warfare (IEW) system provides to
C3CM, and the C3CM responsibilities of the joint force commander and staff.

INTRODUCTION
Commanders depend on electronic devices to command, control, and communicate with their widely-
dispersed and fast-moving forces. They must protect their command, control, and communications (C3)
systems and, at the same time, counter enemy C3. The strategy to achieve this is known as C3CM.
