A compact transistorized "slave" oscilloscope permits an operator to
view the signal being measured by the data analyzer.
The oscilloscope
must be operated in conjunction with the data analyzer from which it
derives power and control signals.
The functions of the controls and
indicators are listed below, except those which are normal to most types
of oscilloscopes.
It is assumed that the student has knowledge of
oscilloscope operation.

the SINGLE SWEEP RELEASE switch is
actuated.
SINGLE SWEEP
Arranges oscilloscope to display a single character each
RELEASE
time the switch is depressed (when CHARACTER BLANKING
switch is set to MANUAL).
