SS 0438-A, Installation/Troubleshooting Telephone Substation.
TASK:
The student will install a telephone substation.
CONDITIONS:
Given station protector, ground wire, ground wire clamp, pliers (long
nosed), terminal wrench, linemans pliers, diagonal pliers, three 1 3/4
inch wood screws, safety belt, safety hat, inside housewire, TA-
236/FT, C-block, 2 1 inch wood screws, predrilled holes, small and
large tip screwdrivers, local service request DA Form 3938, ladder,
and FM 11-372-8.
STANDARDS:
Student will install telephone substation within 2 hours.
