used for cart machine playback), has a patch cable in it from the output of a tape machine, then the cart

c. The plugs on the patch cables have a set of "ribs" on one side. Make sure the ribs on both
plugs of the patch cable go in the same direction which will ensure no problems with "phasing". A good
thing to remember is "Keep the Ribs to the Right".
