PERFORMANCE MEASURE 2

DETERMINE SUPPORT REQUIREMENTS

Now that you understand the contents and purpose of the OPORD and LOI it is

time to use this knowledge to actually select a team radio site. At Annex B we

have provided a checklist of all the necessary steps to take but for this

exercise we will go through it step-by-step analyzing each substep required.

Situation

For this exercise you are the team chief of an AN/GRC-142/122(*). You have two

SM as your team members. By VOCO, you have been assigned the mission of Team

Three from the LOI. You have been given both a copy of the LOI and OPORD.

Receive Instructions (Refer to OPORD, LOI and VOCO).

Your mission is:

Install, operate and maintain the Division Alternate Radio net.

You are to:

Select a team radio site in the immediate vicinity of the Division

Alternate Command Post.

You will be:

NCS in the absence of Team One.

You will provide:

Other services as directed.

Determine Map Coordinates.

You will use:

Series V 745.

Map scale is:

1:50.000.

Division Alternate CP is located at:

LG 76559160.

Determine Support Requirements.

Fuel.
