(1) Zeroize the KY-57 and turn it off.
(2) Check battery life condition on manpack, write it down so you can
record it on the battery later.
(3) Initiate RT self test, FCTN switch to TST, observe display. Set
the RT FCTN switch to Z-A, wait for the display to show "Good".
Set the
FCTN to STW.
(4) Disassemble manpack or turn off CB1 on vehicular radio set.
(5) Annotate DA Form 2404.
