The AN/TRC-145 contains two AN/GRC-103's. This assemblage is also air or vehicular
transportable and is used in forward area PCM communications systems for cable or radio
terminal or repeater applications. The two equipment sets of the AN/TRC-145 may be arranged
for use as a terminal, a repeater, or as a cable-to-radio conversion facility. Figure 9 shows the
inside of the AN/TRC-145.

From the variety of assemblages in which the AN/GRC-103 is used, it becomes apparent
that the US Army considers this an important radio set.
