The four general components of the Army Information Architecture (AIA)
Strategic, tactical, theater, and sustainment.

One of the primary goals of the AIA is to ensure that mission-
and supported in a timely manner.
The AIA pertains to all information systems regardless of proponent,
component or environment and incorporates all of the disciplines of
the Information Mission Area (IMA).
The IMA operates in three environments.
These environments are corps,
division and brigade level.
