Set the MODE selector switch (C) to V-RCV.

(b) Amplifier-coupler. To set the amplifier-coupler control, set
the ANT SEL switch (F) to the middle position (BNC connector).
The top
position is used only for local whip, and the bottom position is used only
for a 50-ohm antenna (dipole or NVIS).

the LIGHT switch (K) is pressed.
The POWER indicator light (L) on the amplifier-power supply is
on (turning lens counterclockwise brightens the light).
NOTE:
Failure to achieve the last two conditions described in paragraph
10a(3) does not warrant a high maintenance priority. (The AN/GRC-
213 will still perform its mission.) Failure to achieve the first
condition in paragraph 10a(3) may demand immediate repair.
