Summary. In this lesson, you learned about the communication systems that a divisional air
defense battalion establishes. These systems consist of internal single-channel radio nets, internal wire
systems, external radio single-channel radio communications, and external multichannel radio
communications. An air defense battalion accesses the MSE network through a small extension node
(SEN). Mobile subscribers access the MSE network through a mobile subscriber radiotelephone
terminal (MSRT).
