The input/output plugs marked for audio and possibly for microphones will be
of a certain diameter and size depending on the model and the manufacturer (figs 3-
2, 3-3, and 3-4 for differences).
Before you start assembling cables, you must
determine what kind of plugs the equipment will take.
Examine the jack panel
located on your VTR, monitor and other equipment.
Plugs vary in size and design
although they all perform the same connection function.
