(4) Radio terminal set AN/TRC-117.
The AN/TRC-117 provides an
air or ground transportable PCM radio terminal set. You use it for
secure or nonsecure radio and cable telephone, teletype, facsimile,
or data communications at the corps level.
It can provide one 24-
channel or two 12-channel terminals.
The equipment shelter houses
the operating components of the AN/TRC-117. The unit requires power
from two trailer mounted generators (PU-618/M) and a 2 1/2-ton cargo
truck (M-35 or M-211). Figure 1-27 shows the AN/TRC-117.
