b. Telephone Terminals. Telephone terminals are assemblages that
provide terminal facilities for telephone communications systems.
(1) Telephone terminal AN/TCC-65.
The AN/TCC-65 provides
secure and nonsecure multiplex capability for forward area PCM
It provides eight 12-channel or four 24-
channel telephone systems, four cable repeaters of 12, 24, or 48
channels each, or various combinations of these arrangements.
You
can secure each 12-channel group with TSEC/KG-27.
The AN/TCC-65 serves primarily at the corps and above levels for area
communications.
The
equipment
shelter
houses
all
operating
components. The assemblage mounts on a transporter truck (1 1/4-ton
M-715), which also tows the power unit trailer.
The power unit
includes the generator set PU-628.
Figure 1-29 illustrates the
AN/TCC-65.
