as it supports the five battlefield functional areas (BFA) of maneuver, fire support, air defense,
intelligence and electronic warfare, and combat service support. You also learned that the Force Level
Control System (FLCS) provides the C2 means for the commander and staff and the means of
coordination among the BFA.
