Summary. In this lesson, you learned how integrated signal support systems support the Army
Tactical Command and Control System (ATCCS) and how the signal battalions in heavy, light, airborne,
and air assault divisions are organized and equipped. You learned the various means of
communications, signal node networks, and signal systems management. You were introduced to MSE
and its use in Army divisions, along with the Combat Net Radio (CNR) and the major elements of the
Army Data Distribution System (ADDS).
