The analog breakout monitor jacks provide access to a voice frequency
carrier telegraph (VFCT) terminal for the purpose of monitoring data
channels in the composite signal of a VF channel carrying data (tone pack).
The two 6-way/4-way bridges are required by MIL-STD-188-310A for all
technical control facility upgrades.
Each leg of the bridge must be
terminated in its characteristic impedance (600 ohms) when not connected to
a 600 ohm circuit. This is accomplished through the jack wiring as shown in
figure 1-15.
