(5) Other VF Primary Patch Bay Components. In addition to the patching
modules, the typical VF primary patch bay contains equipment for circuit
monitoring (speakers or digital display meters), a writing shelf, a panel of
AC power outlets, and blank panels to fill voids in the bay. Figure 1-13
shows two versions of a VF primary patch bay, one with monitor speakers and
the other with digital display meters.
