All connections and operating controls of the TA-312/PT are located on the panel assembly and

housing. The handcrank (part of generator, ringing, hand G-42A/PT) for generating the ringdown signal

is located on the side of the housing. Connector, receptacle U-79/U allows connection of handset-

headset H-144( )/U for use in place of the H-60/PT. (See Figure 1-1.)
