15. START-UP PROCEDURES.
Now that you have learned the initial
control settings for each of the four major component of radio set
AN/GRC-193, you are ready to learn the correct start-up procedures
for voice communications.
There are three steps in starting up the
radio set: (1) apply power to the radio set, (2) tune the radio set,
and (3) select the mode of operation.
a. First, apply power to the radio set.
