d. Fault isolation is performed with the AN/GRC-213 mounted on an
installation kit in the vehicle. The general fault isolation test setup in
the vehicle (see Figure 25), distinct audible tones produced by the AN/GRC-
213, and measurements taken with a voltmeter and wattmeter will aid you in
isolating the faulty component.
The fault isolation test is in flowchart
form and is followed by replacement instructions for each part of the
AN/GRC-213.
Upon replacing a component, the EPC should be run to verify
proper operation of the AN/GRC-213.
