The signal at the RT X-MODE jack pin E is
applied through the A8000 and A6000 assemblies, where the signal modulates
the RF carrier. It is then applied to the antenna system and radiated into
the atmosphere (Figure 69). (Trace these circuits on your system diagram.)

ON, K2 and K5 (KY-57) are energized, changing the signal path in the KY-57

KY-57 relay K3 and J-3513/U relays K6, K7, and K8 energize only
during the following conditions. (They are energized by the alarm
tone (beep) only in cipher mode.
