Table 3-3. Node Switch to EAC via AN/TSC-85A/93A
NOTE 1: CNCE entry for the AN/TSC-85A and he AN/TSC-93A is to designate that unit as
the timing slave to the group coming from node switch or AN/TTC-39A.
NOTE 2: Slave entry for the AN/TSC-85A and the AN/TSC-93A is to designate that unit as the
timing slave to whatever source is available.
(4) Figure 3-8, page 3-16, shows a corps MSE network with six node centers
(symbolized by a triangle with an X inside a circle) and a TRITAC network with three area node
centers (symbolized by two triangles and a diamond shaped figure--the diamond shaped figure
representing a gateway switch). An area code of (307) has been assigned to the MSE network
and an area code of (300) has been assigned to the TRITAC network.
(a) An MSE user placing a call to the TRITAC network would dial (300) and the
seven digit subscriber number PRSLXXX. The complete dialing sequence would be
300PRSLXXX, as shown on the diagram.
(b) A TRITAC user placing a call to the MSE network would dial (307) and the
seven digit MSE directory number LNXXXXX. The complete dialing sequence would be
307LNXXXXX, as shown on the diagram.
