(d) The DISCOM medical net
(HF) is used for the same purpose as the
medical net (FM), but provides longer range
(Figure 2-12). In addition to providing longer
range, this net takes some of the traffic off the
medical net (FM). Stations in this net pass
traffic concerning casualties.
They also
coordinate among themselves for required
medical resources.
