Remove the electrode from the buffer solution. Rinse it with distilled water (figure 16),
and wipe off the excess water with a soft tissue (figure 17).

Immerse the electrode tip in the developer sample.

Depress the READ pushbutton, read, and record the pH of the sample from the pH scale
(figure 18). Record your reading on the TRS.
