OBJECTIVES
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
The performance objectives of this lesson are for you to be able to accomplish the
following tasks.
1.
Perform an interunit connection of the components of Radio Set AN/GRC-103 and
Multiplexer TD-660/G for operation as a 12-channel PCM radio terminal. The completed cable
connections should be made as shown in Figure 3-10 of TM 11-5820-540-12 and accomplished
within 10 minutes.
2.
Perform an interunit connection of the components of two AN/GRC-103 Radio Sets for
operation as a 12-channel PCM radio repeater. The completed cable connections should be
made as shown in Figure 3-11 of TM 11-5820-540-12 and accomplished within 20 minutes.
3.
Tune Radio Set AN/GRC-103 for 12-channel PCM operation when assigned a send and
receive channel number within the BAND I frequency range. All meter readings must be as
specified in paragraph 4-8 of TM 11-5820-540-12 and all warning lights must be extinguished.
A properly adjusted TD-660/G multiplexer and an installed antenna system will be provided.
The radio set should be tuned within 30 minutes.
