(d) SYNC lamp (Item 4) may light momentarily but should go out within 10
seconds.
(e) Buzzer may sound. Press BUZZER OFF pushbutton (Item 6) to silence
buzzer.
STEP 7.
Close Fold-Out 11 and open Fold-Out 12. Refer to Fold-Out 12 while reading
this step.
Operate receiver AC POWER switch (Item 1) to ON. The receiver AC
POWER switch also provides circuit breaker protection for the receiver.
When the receiver AC POWER switch is turned ON, the receiver should
respond as follows.
(a) AC POWER lamp (Item 2) lights.
(b) Order wire until POWER lamp (Item 1) lights.
(c) LOW SIGNAL lamp (Item 3) lights.
(d) SYNC lamp (Item 5) may light momentarily.
(e) Buzzer may sound. Press BUZZER OFF pushbutton (Item 6) to silence
buzzer.
(f) Loud rushing sound is heard in order wire handset.
The order wire
handset is stored inside the order wire cabinet.
STEP 8.
Close Fold-Out 12 and open Fold-Out 11. Refer to Fold-Out 11 while reading
this step.
Set the transmitter meter switch (Item 8) to 12 VDC. This checks the 12-volt
power supply.
The normal indication is for the meter to read in the green band. Refer to the
enlarged view of the meter and locate the green band.
STEP 9.
Continue to refer to Fold-Out 11.
Set transmitter meter switch (Item 8) to 28 VDC. This checks the 28 volt
power supply.
The meter should read in the green band. Locate the green band area of the
meter in the enlarged view.
