STEP 15. Continue to refer to Fold-Out 11.
Set transmitter meter switch (Item 8) to PWR OUT. Then pull out the PWR
OUT PEAK knob (Item 14) and rotate it for a maximum meter reading.
The maximum meter reading should be between 25% and 90% of a full scale
meter reading.
BAND II operation requires the same procedure but there is no adjustment for
BAND III operation.
STEP 16. Refer to Fold-Out 11 and 12 while reading this step.
Set transmitter meter switch (Item 8 of Fold-Out 11) to REFL PWR. Then
tune the receiver XMTR DUPL control (Item 14 of Fold-Out 12) for a
MINIMUM transmitter meter (Item 9) reading. This step requires you to
rotate the XMTR DUPL control on the receiver while observing the meter on
the transmitter.
When you have the transmitter meter (Item 9 of Fold-Out 11) reading as low
as possible you must check to see that the receiver XMTR CHANNEL
indicator (Item 15 of Fold-Out 12) is within 10 channels of the assigned
transmitter channel number.
STEP 17. Refer to Fold-Out 12 while reading this step. Set the receiver meter switch
(Item 7) to XMTR DUPL.
When you perform this step the receiver meter should read between 25% and
90% of full scale.
STEP 18. Continue to refer to Fold-Out 12 while reading this step.
Set the receiver meter switch (Item 7) to REFL PWR.
The receiver meter should read less than 20% of full scale.
STEP 19. Close Fold-Out 12 and open Fold-Out 11. Refer to Fold-Out 11 while reading
