STEP 10. Continue to use Fold-Out 11.
Set transmitter meter switch (Item 8) to 600 VDC. This checks the 600 volt
power supply.
A green band reading should occur. Refer to enlarged view of the meter.
STEP 11. Continue to use Fold-Out 11.
Set transmitter meter switch (Item 8) to OSC. This action will check the
output of basic frequency generating circuits.
The meter should read between 25% and 90% of full scale. Refer to the
enlarged meter for proper reading.
STEP 12. Refer to Fold-Out 11.
Set the transmitter meter switch (Item 8) to DOUBLER. With the switch in
this position the output of transmitter fixed head is being checked.
Meter indication should be between 25% and 90% of full scale.
STEP 13. Refer to Fold-Out 11.
Set transmitter meter switch (Item 8) to MULT. A check of the input to driver
RF amplifier is being made.
A proper meter reading is between 25% and 90% of full scale.
STEP 14. Continue to refer to Fold-Out 11 while reading this step.
Set transmitter meter switch (Item 8) to DRIVER. Then push in on the PWR
OUT PEAK knob (Item 14) and turn the knob for a maximum meter reading.
For BAND II and III operation there is no adjustment.
The meter should read at maximum between 25% and 90% of full scale.
