(d) The S2/S3 section plans and supervises the battalion's tactical operations in support of
the division's mission. It also establishes the battalion's tactical operations center (TOC). Included as
part of the TOC are the air battle management operations center (ABMOC) and the battlefield
information coordination center (BICC). Operated by the S2 element, the BICC is responsible for
collecting, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence, counterintelligence, and security operations for the
