maintenance and degrades readiness. Personally owned cameras, TVs, radios,
stereos, and tape recorders are not permitted in a cryptofacility under any
circumstances.
Government-owned items are authorized only if considered
mission essential.
Any deficiencies noted during an inspection can be
corrected only through effective training. Practical training remains the
best means of correcting deficiencies in operator performance. Attention to
detail and continuous supervision of operating personnel increases
cryptographic security and ensures proper use of cryptosystems.
