(8) At this time, frequencies may be assigned to the network
(figure 25).
The transmitting frequency is always located next to
the terminal or relay symbol.
Refer to the analysis of system
requirements in figure 25 to determine what direction each system is
designated such as A-M, A-B, M-B, etc., frequencies will be assigned
in pairs for each system. Example: refer to figure 25, the first A-M
system counted was from division artillery to division TAC, take the
first frequency in Column I (A-M direction) and assign 222.0 to
division artillery for their transmit and at the same time assign the
transmit frequency for division TAC which is in the opposite
direction M-A column IV 261.0.
If this entire procedure has been
followed
exactly
for
each
system,
then
separation is taken care of.
However, care must be taken at
multichannel radio relays and terminals to assure that receiver-to-
receiver separations (1.5 megahertz) are observed.
