(1) Skinning the wire. Bend the wire over the solder lug to mark the
point on the skinner where the removal of the insulation is to be started.
If the conductors are enamel coated, remove the coating with the long-nosed
pliers.
Do not nick the wire when removing insulation, because the wire
will eventually bread at that point.
