c. Open up the double H-frames. The bearing blocks will keep the assembly open in a
straight line. Move the frame over the reel and rest the frame on the ground. (See Figure 30.)
d. Slip the axle through the reel. (See Figure 31.)

e. Open the bearing caps by pulling upward on the bearing latches. (See Figure 32.)
f. Raise the frame so the bearings engage the round bearing surfaces of the axle.

g. Close the bearing caps and latch the bearing latches.
h. Mount the crank on one end of the axle. Strike the crank with the palm of the hand
to set the crank firmly on the axle. (See Figure 34.)
