The radio set AN/GRC-193 consists of the following
major components (Fig 1):
Amplifier-converter AM-6879 (Fig 1 (B)).
Antenna coupler CU-2064 (Fig 1 (D)).
3. CHARACTERISTICS. Since you know the components of the radio set
AN/GRC-193, you can now direct your attention to the technical
characteristics of this radio set.
Frequency range - 2 to 29,999.9 megahertz (MHz).
Number of frequencies - 280,000.
Frequency spacing - 10 hertz (Hz).
Modes of operation - upper sideband (USB), lower sideband
(LSB), voice, data, continuous wave (CW), and teletypewriter
(TTY) in receive-transmit or receive-only.
Radio frequency (RF) output power - 100 or 400 watts peak
envelope power (PEP).
