b. The DISCOM logistics operations
net (AM) provides long-range command and
control for the DISCOM. This net is depicted in
Figure 2-20. The supporting FASCOs stay in
contact with both the DISCOM operations and
the main support battalion. This is essential,
especially when the units are out of FM range.
c. The main support battalion command
net (FM) provides command and control
between the MSB operations section and the
battalion's support companies. Figure 2-21
depicts this net. All stations in the net are
responsive to the needs of supported units. Note

net and the DISCOM command net. The S3 of
the MSB operates in the DISCOM materiel
management net.
d. The following applies to a DISCOM
which is supported by a non-MSE division
signal battalion.

division signal battalion and DISCOM HHC
personnel.
