Description of Mast. The antenna mast consists of an elevator or launcher, seven mast
sections and an accessory kit. The launcher provides support for the mast sections and
contains breaking rings and a jacking mechanism for raising and lowering the mast
sections. The base plate of the launcher has a locking clamp to secure the mast assembly
and antenna in the assigned azimuth direction. Figure 13 shows the launcher portion of
the antenna mast.
