Mast Extension Kit. To extend the height of the antenna mast from 35 to 50 feet, the
MK-1009/GRC-103 extension kit is used. The kit contains three mast sections, guy
wires, anchors, and a guy attachment ring. The guy wires contained in the extension kit
are colored blue for easy identification. Two men are able to erect the 50 foot antenna
within 15 minutes. Figure 16 shows the components contained in the mast extension kit.
