b. Organizational Monthly Preventive Maintenance Checks. There are six items to be
inspected during the monthly PM check. A month is defined as approximately 30 calendar days
of 8-hour-per-day operation. If the equipment is operated 16 hours a day, the monthly checks
and services should be performed at 15-day intervals. The monthly checks and services must be
performed on equipment that is maintained in a standby condition.
