(2) The LEN switch AN/TCC-46 is basically the same as the NC
switch AN/TCC-47 except in its termination configuration.
The LEN
switch performs all access switching and control functions for the
MSE network.
d. Small Extension Node. The SEN consists of a UHF radio system
terminal and a switching unit. SENs normally connect to an NC or an
LEN via radio.
(1) SENs use LOS multichannel radio terminal AN/TRC-190 (V) 1.
The AN/TRC-190(V) 1 provides the UHF radio relay functions required
at SEN and RAU sites. Configuration and characteristics are similar
to those listed for an LEN.
(2) The SEN switch AN/TCC-48(V) comes in two versions, (V) 1
and (V) 2.
The (V) 1 version provides 26 digital lines and 10
trunks.
The (V) 2 version provides 41 lines and 13 trunks.
Both
versions provide two DC office interfaces, and a digital net radio
interface, KY-90.
of a CP. It consists of an S-250 shelter transported on an HMMWV M-
1037.
The SEN switch interfaces with an LEN switch or NC switch
directly via cable or LOS radio.
