(4) The node management facility AN/TSQ-154 provides the
equipment and space required to manage the resources of the node. It
consists of an S-250 shelter transported on an M-1037.
For nodal
interconnection, it includes an intercom and a VINSON equipped
headset. A 10 kw generator set supplies 115 VAC power.

(5) The Node Center switch AN/TCC-47 is the hub of the MSE
node.
It provides the external interface, circuit switching, and
associated functions.
It requires two S-250 shelters; one for
switching and one for operations.
It requires an HMMWV M-1037 for
each shelter. The operations shelter provides the central processing
and operator interface functions.
The NC switch provides automatic subscriber finding features.
This
allows permanent subscriber address assignment and negates the need
to know the subscribers geographical location. A 10 kw generator set
PU-753/M supplies power to both units.
