MANPACK OPERATION (Figure 20).

This shows an exploded view of the

AN/PRC-104(A) for manpack operation. Note that the AN/PRC-104(A) radio set

is furnished power by one of the three battery packs. A whip antenna and a

shock mount from the transit case (CY-7542/PRC-104(A)) must be used for the

manpack configuration. A complete AN/PRC-104(A) in transit case is issued

as part of each AN/GRC-213 radio set.
