Operation of 5- and 10-kw Gas Generator.
a. Perform starting procedures.
(1) Ensure generator circuit breaker is in OFF position.
(2) Ensure auxiliary fuel supply is connected.
(3) Ensure generator set is properly grounded.
(4) Ensure auxiliary FUEL switch is set to desired position.
b. Start generator set electrically.
(1) Position oil pan baffle rod in the
proper
position,
depending on ambient temperature. (See Figure 28.)
