program and analysis facilities. The capabilities of this data base
deployments to the retrieval of specific fields of information from
various files. Deployments serve as standard test beds for analyzing
the operation of communications-electronics equipments in the current
time frame to 10-15 years into the future. The information contained
in the numerous files can be manipulated to provide military
communications-electronics
systems
descriptions
and
other
requirements for management information support.
Representative
files maintained within this data base are:
(1) Tactical deployments file.
Large scale communications-
electronics deployments are developed and maintained to satisfy the
analysis of communications-electronics based problems related to
defined
force
structures,
including
communications-electronics
equipments for both friendly and opposing forces.
The deployments
are centered around major Army studies and provide the basic tool for
analyzing the electromagnetic compatibility implications of new
equipment, organizations and concepts.

file.
This
file
contains
information which defines the communications-electronics equipment
compliment of each table(s) of organization and equipment and the
normal netting of the equipments.
(3) Frequency allocation to the equipment file.
This file
issued by the Joint Frequency Panel.
