g. Affiliation.
All authorized static wire line and mobile
subscribers must go through a procedure called affiliation is a
process which allows a subscriber to access and be recognized as a
discrete subscriber in the MSE network.
(1) Static wire line subscribers will affiliate with a single
switch in the network.
Affiliation is coordinated between a
subscriber and the local switch to which it is connected.
(2) Mobile subscribers affiliate with a local RAU.
The MSRT
automatically reaffiliates the mobile subscriber as it moves from one
RAU's area of coverage to another.
If the mobile subscriber is
engaged in a telephone conversation and leaves the servicing RAU's
range, the conversation is terminated and must be redialed.
